The building incorporates the large open spaces typical of modern retail facilities. The shallow structure depth and clean exposed soffit were achieved using slab shear reinforcement and post-tensioning of the critical span. Post-tensioning was also used to limit the depth of transfer beams required to suit the operational requirements of the shop.
