Architectural requirements for the automobile display tower and the Mini showroom required special consideration in this project.
The automobile display tower provides support for the structural glazing and for a purpose built hoist. Four individual triangular towers were used to provide the primary framing with minimal outriggers to the glass face. The steel structure in the roof of the Mini showroom is constructed of castellated steel beams.
The design was awarded an Honourable Mention for steel design by the Ontario division of Canadian Institute of Steel Construction in 2002
