The concrete foundations for a series of houses in the Oakridges area had to be replaced due to defective concrete. The shoring design had to provide stable support for the house while the concrete was removed, simple installation by hand and re-usability at different sites. Two designs were provided - a full needle beam design that permitted removal of about fifty percent of the walls and a partial removal design where panels of the existing concrete were removed in sequence.
