Founded in 2002 to provide structural engineering services to architects, contractors and exhibit designers, Brown & Co. Engineering Ltd. has provided design services on a wide variety of projects including in-ground water reservoirs, commercial buildings, highway and pedestrian bridges and large transportable display structures.

Prior to founding the company, the principal of the firm, Stephen Brown, was a partner in the firm of Otter Brown Engineering Limited, a firm recognized for its innovative engineering with awards from the Canadian Institute of Steel Construction, Canadian Portland Cement Institute and the Canadian Construction Association. Mr. Brown was also the structural designer of the Humber Pedestrian Bridge which was the recipient of many awards including the Governor General's Award for architecture and an award of excellence from the Canadian Institute for Steel Construction.
